I kept finding the same thing in companies that were well run. The business worked, the people were good, and almost nothing that made it work was written anywhere a system could reach. It lived in somebody's memory, and when they were away you could watch the company get worse at its own job.

AI is finally capable of holding that. What most of it is not, is safe to put near a company where somebody signs for the outcome. Being capable and being accountable are different problems, and this field has mostly solved the first one.
